First of all, the thought of drawing Sololaki came to my mind when I heard the news about our schools new project called “our Sololaki”. I don’t know why I chose drawing instead of simply just writing about it in a blog post, it’d be a lot easier if you ask me, but I think the drawings say more and better things about my thoughts on the subject. It’s been nearly 17 years since I started living here, and I don’t think it’s surprising to say that I love this place quite a lot. I have to say, my love for this place had a big influence in my inspiration.
